The staff, students, parents and volunteers of School District 15 will always remember Mrs. Elizabeth Lord, Javier Acevedo, Codey Branch, Justin Cormier, Nathan Cleland, Daniel Hains, Nikki Kelly and Nickolas Quinn. Their memory lives on in our hearts and in our experiences. We pledge to keep their memory alive forever, and to honor them by striving for excellence in everything we do.
In their honor, we have designed a stylized version of the District 15 logo, and this will be used in various ways to show our enduring affection for them and for their families.
The logo captures the partnership that exists between District 15, where Mrs. Lord was a valued teacher, and Bathurst High School, where the boys were popular and successful students. The logo was created in red and black, the Bathurst High School colors. The basketball represents the BHS Phantoms, the boys’ team, on which they played with pride, sportsmanship and enthusiasm. Mrs. Lord’s contribution to music education is represented by the violin, as is her passion for the strings.
We hope the families and loved ones will find comfort in knowing that School District 15 and Bathurst High School will use this logo to sustain the precious memory of Elizabeth Lord and The Boys in Red.
